David Gibson
David "Dave" Gibson has over 20 years of experience in Medicare and Health insurance brokerage and agency leadership. Placing Medicare insurance is an individualized process with many considerations. There is no one client like another, and every client’s needs and expectations are different. As with many things in life, needs and expectations change - and this is especially true for Medicare beneficiaries. Dave takes a hands-on, one-on-one approach to Medicare and health insurance consulting, initially and then annually.
I often hear... "I’m an educated person, but I can’t understand Medicare". There are so many options, opinions, and information out there (both true and false). I have received a testimonial from a client that calls me her Medicare Shepherd. I believe that is a fair analogy for what I do, and I trust that any new client would feel the same.
I broker Medigap, Medicare Advantage, and Part D with multiple insurance companies. Besides securing coverage, I continuously remind my clients to "Call me, not your insurance carrier" whenever there’s a question or concern, regardless if it’s a claims issue, billing mistake, etc. As with most large companies, (and especially insurance companies) good customer service is a relic of the past.
Dave (a Gastonia native) lives in Charlotte (Go Panthers!) with his wife Stephanie and two daughters, Rollins and Foster, and dogs, Fisher and Stella. In their spare time they enjoy hiking, camping, traveling, and being outside. They are members at Providence United Methodist Church. Dave is a UNCW Seahawk (class of 2000) and has a special place in his heart for Eastern NC cuisine (whole hog BBQ and fried seafood).
